For those northerners in the crowd, Bolton will be the host of our first conference, where our first-class line-up of speakers take to the stage of the De Vere Whites on Friday 14 June. The conference will be headlined by none other than Les Jones, Editor of BoD Magazine and Marketing Director at Practice Plan, whom, aside from introducing the other industry enthusiasts, will be shedding some light on ‘how to market your practice’. The remaining medley of speakers share relevant and insightful content on topics ranging from ‘taking advantage of media and PR opportunities’ with PR guru Gemma Godman, to ‘how to become an internet-savvy practice’ presented by owner of GDPUK, Tony Jacobs. You’re also in for a treat with a uniquely presented performance on ‘10 things to do to be a better practice manager’ with Michael Bentley, not to mention a discussion on ‘how to manage a team and deal with absence’ held by Ian Langford, HR Consultant for Peninsula Business Services and presenter extraordinaire.

Although the conference is open to all team members, we’re particularly targeting the requirements of the practice manager’s role. The cost to attend the conference is £160 per person and includes all refreshments and lunch throughout the day. BoD and Practice Plan members are entitled to a discounted rate of £120 per person. There is also an overnight stay option at an additional cost of £150 per person for all delegates and includes a three-course dinner and wine and a hearty breakfast. It’s also an ideal opportunity for you to network with other like-minded managers.
