Bupa Dental Plan access for SMEs

Previously only accessible to larger businesses and individual policies, the plan will now cover routine dental care carried out at Bupa Dental Centres for SME customers. Check-ups, scale and polish appointments and any necessary x-rays will be included in the plan.

The Bupa Dental Health Plan also provides discounts for general dental treatment such as crowns, bridges and veneers and tooth whitening. All routine care is resolved at the centre, so there are no claim forms to complete.

Tony Wood, sales director at Bupa Health Funding, said: ‘Dental cover is a highly valued employee benefit and Bupa Dental Health Plan has been popular with corporate and individual customers so far.’

In 2012, Bupa readied plans to enhance its business to become one of the largest private dentistry providers in the UK by 2015. The healthcare specialists now has nine Bupa Dental Centres all over the UK, including in Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield and London.

The dental health plan also includes important worldwide emergency world dental treatment, oral cancer cover, no underwriting or pre-enrolment checks and access to the Bupa HealthLine.

Tony Woods said: ‘The plan is great value for the level of cover provided, with the excellent quality of care you would expect from Bupa, and can complement existing employee benefits packages.’
