Blue Wednesday is coming – what will you wear?

bluewednesdayForget Blue Monday – this year, Mouth Cancer Action Month is urging people to mark Blue Wednesday instead, by wearing something blue to raise awareness of mouth cancer.

Blue Wednesday will take place on Wednesday 16 November and everyone can get involved – from patients to practice staff.

Supporting the day is easy – simply wear something blue!

  • Step one: Find something blue to wear. It could be something from your wardrobe, blue lipstick or the blue ribbon (available to buy here)
  • Step two: Ask a group of friends or persuade your work colleagues to join you and participate in Blue Wednesday. Remember to take lots of pictures and upload them to social media using the hashtag #BlueWednesday
  • Step three: Pass the message on. Encourage other people to hold their own Blue Wednesday event. You could even send your local press the details of what you’re doing, along with a few pictures.

If you are looking to get involved in Mouth Cancer Action Month or would just like to learn more about the campaign, pledge your support and receive your free Mouth Cancer Action Month 2016 registration pack, visit the Mouth Cancer Action Month website.
