Affordable practice management software
Hamssa Mansour talks to Dentistry.co.uk about how pleased she is after purchasing Ismile for her practice.
Dentistry.co.uk: Why did you choose Ismile?
Hamssa Mansour (HM): As a practice owner, setting up my first private practice from scratch, it was very difficult to decide what software to choose and finances were limited. My main concern was the equipment, furniture, instruments etc, I wasn’t even planning on getting any software to manage the practice. But when I saw Ismile, I was surprised how affordable it was, particularly with all the features it had.
I am used to the other common systems, but I wanted something a bit different. When I was at one of the dental shows in Birmingham I came across Ismile. What caught my attention was the positive energy and the enthusiasm I felt as I approached the stand. I noticed that the system was very user friendly and exactly what I was looking for – simple, colourful and efficient, and does just what you need. I purchased the software on the same day and never looked back.
Dentistry.co.uk: How easy was it to install Ismile?
HM: The Ismile guys were absolutely wonderful. They installed it, came and trained the staff and, being so user friendly, the team started using the software without any obstacles. In fact, Ismile gave us reports that helped us with practice building and management.
At the beginning, introducing any new system, you have some issues. But with Ismile, what made me sure I had made the right decision was the availability of support. It takes only minutes to sort out any issue.
I have had the system for 18 months now and it hasn’t let me down at all.
Dentistry.co.uk: How did the team adapt to using Ismile?
HM: My staff are all new to dentistry and they come from different backgrounds. But all you need with Ismile is to know how to read English and how to use a mouse. That’s how user friendly it is.
We induct any new team member when they start and it usually takes a few hours for them to become efficient in using the system.
Dentistry.co.uk: What is the aftersales service like at Ismile?
HM: The aftersales service has been absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, these days, often you purchase something then get disappointed with the aftersales service. Ismile has given us the same level of good service since day one. No delay in response at all and always updating us with the new features.
Dentistry.co.uk: What is your favourite feature?
HM: The home screen. It tells you everything in summary, most importantly the comparison between the months, how many appointments completed, how many appointments missed etc. It’s just simple and amazing.
Dentistry.co.uk: Anything else you’d like to add?
HM: I wouldn’t change to another system ever again, in fact I have made three of my friends who are practice owners change to Ismile and they share the same views.
