Kerry Lancaster from the Eastman Dental Institute was awarded the Distinguished Technician Award at the British Orthodontic Conference in London in recognition of her distinguished service to orthodontics.
Kerry has been deputy chief instructor technician at the Eastman since 1995 and has taught postgraduates, dental nurses and dental technicians. She is currently responsible for delivering the technical training to the orthodontic postgraduates as part of the MClinDent programme.
Kerry is a member of the Orthodontic Technicians’ Association and in 2013 was awarded with ‘Fellow’ membership status. She also served as a committee member on their council for many years.
