Dentistry.co.uk: Tell us about the latest GSK partnership
Stephen Glynn (SG): On 1 October 2018, GSK – a leader in oral healthcare innovation – along with Philips, launched a new strategic partnership with Mydentist, one of the UK’s largest networks of dental practices. GSK will provide support and training provisions, as well as products to be sold through Mydentist practices.
Dentistry.co.uk: Why did GSK choose to partner with Mydentist?
SG: As a company, we are focused on helping people to do more, feel better and live longer and are committed to partnering with dental healthcare professionals to facilitate their delivery of patient care. Many professionals already recommend GSK brands such as Sensodyne and Corsodyl, so we can deliver value to patients by providing products in the right places.
Dentistry.co.uk: Which GSK products will be available in Mydentist practices?
SG: The partnership will see Mydentist’s 600+ practices nationwide stock a range of products including Sensodyne, Pronamel, Corsodyl and Aquafresh pastes, floss and mouthwash. The products were chosen by clinicians at Mydentist with hygienists, therapists and dentists around the UK taking part.
Dentistry.co.uk: How will Mydentist practices benefit from the partnership?
SG: As part of the partnership, Mydentist practices will benefit from close relationships with GSK’s field team – providing education and accredited CPD aligned to the GSK therapeutic oral care portfolio (sensitivity, acid wear, denture care and gum disease), as well as product samples and information for clinicians to support their patients in understanding the right product for their needs.

SG: GSK Consumer Healthcare has launched a new online portal for dental healthcare professionals.
The dedicated website www.gskhealthpartner.com will be a central resource for product information, CPD condition education and samples for the range of GSK brands. Registration is open to join the community and receive access to the latest content as it becomes available.
