Despite the cold weather slowing down transport links, there was standing room only for the opening lecture.
The one-day seminar provides delegates a substantial volume of required CPD including GDC recommended subjects.
‘Enhanced CPD Dentistry UK is one of the fastest growing events in the dental calendar,’ Craig Welling, commercial director at FMC, said.
‘FMC is synonymous with quality exhibitions and conferences.
‘We’re pleased to see such a good turn out again this year.
‘Dental professionals are obviously eager to hear from quality speakers to get their CPD.’
Created for every member of the dental team, this is the 17th CPD conference FMC has run.
Speakers today include:
- Colin Welsh – safeguarding children and young people
- Philip Lewis – oral cancer
- Pete Gibbons – disinfection and decontamination
- Kevin Lewis – legal and ethical issues
- John Makin – handling complaints
- Jimmy Makdissi – radiography and radiation protection
- Ian Corbett – medical emergencies.
Delegates also have the opportunity to speak to manufacturers during the breaks in the exhibition hall.
‘We’re bringing delegates everything they need, all in one day,’ Leanna Ellis, events director at FMC, said.
‘Enhanced CPD Dentistry UK is one of the best events to get a substantial amount of your core CPD.
‘We have a superb range of speakers and an excellent exhibition giving attendees the opportunity to speak to manufacturers too.
‘Today isn’t the only day we’ll be offering such high calibre speakers though.
‘So I encourage you to keep checking www.fmc.co.uk for all our latest events.’
