The Dental Innovation Symposium 2019: prepare for a successful future
Practice owners open to thinking differently about how to drive their dental practice performance shouldn’t miss an exciting new event that brings together business know-how and the latest in dental technology at the Dental Innovation Symposium 2019.
Taking place on 7-8 June 2019 in London, the event represents an opportunity to listen to a cast of highly motivational speakers and dental industry experts in both business and digital techniques.
Two major dental events join forces
The Dental Innovation Symposium is the new home of the award-winning Digital Symposium and the Good to Great Conference. By bringing these award-winning events together, Henry Schein, Software of Excellence, Mediholdings and Biohorizons, together with a whole host of event sponsors, are creating an environment in which knowledge and expertise can be shared, with the aim of helping dental practices prepare for a successful future.
Created to enhance the learning process for all dental professionals, the Dental Innovation Symposium seeks to drive innovative solutions in terms of how dental practices operate and the treatment options they provide.
Business building workshops
During the two days, delegates can listen to a host of guest speakers. High performance specialist Steve Head will headline on day one with a keynote presentation on how to strike the right work-life balance, giving tips and tools that will help improve your work and home life, without having a detrimental effect on your business.
Delegates will also be treated to a highly motivational and inspirational talk from Mandy Hickson, the only female pilot on her RAF Front Line Tornado Squadron. Mandy will talk with humour and great clarity about the importance of teamwork under pressure. Other unmissable sessions for attendees on the first day include:
- The future of dentistry – where is dentistry heading? – Barry Oulton
- Improving the patient’s experience – Guy Meyers
- Grow your business, today, tomorrow, forever. Understanding the data within your practice – Ben Flewett
- How to get buy in from your team and working towards the same goal – Michael Bentley and Laura Horton
- Is marketing a waste of money? – Barbara Hutchinson
- Purchasing a practice and funding the purchase – Anne Barker.
The future of digital dentistry on show today
Day two presents a blend of business and clinical topics that continues the themes of the first day. Presentations on delivering a patient-centric workflow, influencing treatment uptake and more, will provide delegates with the practical tools to grow more successful practices. Running alongside the business elements will be clinical presentations on implants, orthodontics and bone-grafting as well as how digital dentistry can become a driver for business success.
The Dental Innovation Symposium presents an opportunity for practice owners and clinicians to learn more about how to take control in a changing dental landscape. By providing practical tools and advice, dentists can better understand how to best equip their practice and their team to take advantage of the opportunities that now exist.
