Kevin Lewis coming to the Edinburgh Dentistry Show

Kevin Lewis will be one of the headline speakers at the inaugural Edinburgh Dentistry Show on the 22 June.

Mr Lewis is the consultant editor for Dentistry magazine and has lectured in over 30 countries.

His lecture is titled ‘The magnificent seven – how to keep patients happy and lawyers poor’.

‘I am fortunate enough to have been giving presentations in Scotland for over 36 years now,’ Mr Lewis said.

‘I always look forward to catching up with friends and colleagues I have known for much (or all) of that time.

‘For many years I was regularly here in Edinburgh where my former company had an office.

‘And I have strong family connections with Dundee.

‘Very early in my own dental career, I realised that we can all learn a lot from great thinkers outside dentistry, and use their ideas to make ourselves more successful and safe from the clutches of the GDC, solicitors and the other threats we face in dental practice.

‘I have chosen seven magnificent ideas from that collection, as the basis for my lecture at the show.

‘It aims be entertaining as well as informative and practical.’

Leading line up

Kevin Lewis is added to a growing list of leading speakers from around the profession at the Edinburgh Dentistry Show.

Paul Stone and Tariq Bashir have also been announced, along with a host of leading manufacturers and suppliers.

Enhanced CPD will also be on offer for all of those that attend.

‘We want to make sure you get the most out of your day,’ Seb Evans, Dentistry Scotland editor, said.

‘That’s why we decided to introduce mini “power lectures”.

‘You can hear from the leading speakers in Scottish dentistry, network with colleagues and still have time to see all the latest innovations and speak to dental manufacturers.

‘This will be a day you won’t want to miss.’

What is the Edinburgh Dentistry Show?

Edinburgh is finally getting the dental exhibition it deserves, FMC is bringing the show to you.

Best of all, it’s completely free to attend!

‘Dentists and the whole dentistry team will no longer have to travel to Birmingham or London to see the latest innovations in dentistry,’ Leanna Ellis, events director at FMC, said.

‘We’re bringing the show to Edinburgh.

‘This is a great way to get hands on with the latest dental tech without having to travel for hours to see it.
