We’re down to the final few days before the inaugural Edinburgh Dentistry Show on the 22 June at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange.

Presenter biography
As a nervous patient himself, Jamie followed a career into dentistry after having some cosmetic dentistry and realising how artistic and rewarding it could be as a career.
He has never looked back and has gained membership of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, while currently studying to achieve his masters in aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry.
Kevin Lewis – The magnificent seven – how to keep patients happy and lawyers poor
Presenter biography
Kevin Lewis qualified from The London Hospital in 1971.
He spent 20 years in full-time general dental practice and 10 further years practising part time.
He was the dental director of Dental Protection for 18 years up to June 2016 and also an executive member of the council (board of directors) and senior management team of the Medical Protection Society.
During a long and varied career he has lectured at conferences in over 30 countries and still writes and lectures regularly all over the world.
Kevin has the unique triple distinction of having been awarded honorary membership of the British, Irish and New Zealand Dental Associations.
Paul Stone – Bone-building technology – biology, biomaterials and blood
Presentation overview
This lecture will look at the recent developments in bone regeneration for implant dentistry, with the emphasis on avoiding autogenous bone block harvesting.
It will focus on the appropriate use of modern biomaterials and the adjunctive role of other biological processes to enhance the healing potential.
