London Dentistry Show a huge success

The London Dentistry Show welcomed thousands of delegates to Olympia on Friday and Saturday last week.

Doors opened to queues of dentists and professionals eager to hear from leading speakers and manufacturers in the profession.

Along with this, the show offered attendees the opportunity to gain nine hours of enhanced CPD, all completely for free.

‘We’re extremely grateful to all the delegates and exhibitors that came along on Friday and Saturday,’ Leanna Ellis, FMC events director, said.

‘Without you we couldn’t have made the London Dentistry Show the great success it was.

‘Planning has already started for next year.

‘We’re hoping to build on the success of this year and bring even more benefits to those attending in 2020.

‘Watch this space!’

Registration for the 2020 London Dentistry Show, on the 18 and 19 September, has already opened.

Next year promises is an event you won’t want to miss.

No matter what your specialty or focus, there is something there for you.

‘We will be continuing this momentum on into 2020’s London Dentistry Show,’ Seb Evans, Dentistry.co.uk editor, said.

‘We’ve spoken to delegates to find out what works and what they want to see more of.

‘Keep an eye out for more announcements, but we have some exciting plans lined up.’

Dentistry Confidence Monitor Survey

One of the attractions this year was the results from Practice Plan’s 2019 Dentistry Confidence Monitor Survey.

Nigel Jones hosted two panel discussions with leading dental figures across the two days of the show.

The results were launched at the show and can also from www.nhsdentistryinsights.co.uk.

‘Regional events such as the London Dentistry Show are a great way of bringing the profession together with their peers locally to discuss new ideas, share thoughts and hear from leaders in the field,’ Gayle Collett, head of marketing at Practice Plan, said.

‘In what can be quite an isolating profession, encouraging and facilitating dentists and their teams to come together can only be a positive thing and the number of people through the doors last weekend proved that shows like this are important.

‘That is just one of the reasons we are more than happy to be involved.

‘I look forward to seeing how the show grows in future years.’
