Dentistry continues to raise money in support of NHS efforts

Money continues to roll in as part of FMC’s efforts to raise funds for the NHS and its battle against COVID-19.

The month of April has seen the dental industry come together to raise more than £6,700 to help the UK’s health service.

This follows FMC’s inaugural Online CPD Dentistry Show earlier this month, which gave registered delegates nine hours of ECPD.

This was the first event of its kind that FMC has launched in its 25-year history.

As part of the event, FMC pledged to donate profits from the show to the NHS – but fundraising efforts do not stop there.

FMC have also set up a Justgiving page so that dental professions can continue to donate if they wish to do so.

‘We have been overwhelmed with the response and support the dental industry has shown,’ said Craig Welling, commercial director at FMC.

‘It’s a testament to the profession that people are continuing to donate to support the NHS in this time of difficulty.

‘As we all know, lockdown is not yet over. We want to continue to do all we can to make sure the NHS is getting as much help as possible.

‘Justgiving is a great way to donate and makes sure your money is sent directly to the cause, quickly and securely.’

Alongside its fundraising efforts, FMC have also turned its website and magazines blue to mark its solidarity with frontline healthcare workers throughout the pandemic.
