GSK announces support for Back to Practice campaign

GSKGSK is partnering with Dentistry‘s Back to Practice campaign, supporting the drive for dental teams to get back into practice.

The ‘Back to Practice’ campaign aims to keep the profession up to date with stories about getting dental practices back up and running.

GSK fully supports this drive in an effort to keep patients motivated and smiling.

‘As one of the world’s largest providers of specialist oral health products and manufacturer of Sensodyne, we appreciate that the COVID-19 outbreak has brought significant changes to the dental profession, their patients and daily life,’ Christie Matthews, marketing manager at GSK said.

‘Now more than ever, it is essential to stay in touch and up to date with the latest information in the dental industry.

‘That is why we are partnering with Dentistry and its “Back to Practice” campaign. This will make it easier for dental healthcare professionals to stay up to date with the latest stories, news and guidance regarding the push to get dental practices back up and running. And consequently to help us keep in touch, keep patients motivated and keep them smiling.

Back to Practice

As part of the initiative, Dentistry magazine and Dentistry Online will find positive stories around the profession.

GSK and Dentistry will report on all that practices and dental teams are doing to encourage a return to work. We will also provide the latest updates on any official guidance or measures dictating the direction of dentistry.

And we’ll stamp all ‘return to work’ stories with our campaign logo.

‘Dental practices around the country are struggling during these tough times,’ said Ken Finlayson, CEO of FMC.

‘Dentists and dental professionals are well-versed in cross-infection control and the use of PPE. Dentistry is launching its ‘Back to Practice’ campaign. We will collect together as many stories and articles as we can going forward. This will help both inform and show our support for the safe reopening of dental practices.

‘We stand behind the drive to get the profession back up and running as soon as possible. All so it can then care for the nation’s dental wellbeing.’
