Life in practice after lockdown – Manrina Rhode

Manrina describes how the workflow in her practice has changed since going back and what new procedures they have introduced.

Dr Manrina Rhode graduated from Guys Hospital London in 2002. Since she has become known as one of the top female cosmetic dentists in the UK.

She continued her education at the top institutions around the world. Manrina achieved a masters level in advanced aesthetic dentistry at the prestigious New York Dental Institute and also advanced occlusion techniques (improving the contact between the upper and lower teeth) in Florida. Dr Rhode started facial aesthetics in 2004. She has recently updated her techniques at the Bob Khanna training academy. She continues to upgrade her skills and knowledge as technological advances demand.

Her expertise in cosmetic dentistry led to her appointment as the first female dentist for Harvey Nichols and Harrods. Manrina lectures on cosmetic techniques including teaching at the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry annual conference in Hawaii. She is an active member of both the American and British Academies of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Manrina always finds time to devote to charitable causes. Overcoming extreme challenges Manrina uses her expertise and skills to help make a difference to under privileged children. In recognition of her charitable work she was also named ‘Marie Claire’s 21st Century Woman’. Manrina also sat for three years on the board of directors as chair of charity for the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and spent a significant amount of her time organising fundraisers for their chosen charity.
