In this week’s podcast episode, Dentistry Online talks to dental graduate Yewande Oduwole about her journey into dentistry.
One of the fastest-growing names in young dentistry, Yewande opens up about her lockdown experience, her journey into dentistry and her advice to aspiring young dentists.
We also discuss the importance of the Black Lives Matter movement following her brilliant contribution to an article for Dentistry Online.
Although dentistry is her passion, she discusses other projects, such as her Youtube channel and how she managed to balance her dental degree with an eyebrow threading business.
‘We shouldn’t ever limit ourselves. I think a lot of the time we are our own biggest critics. I think we can put ourselves down,’ she says.
‘As cheesy as it may sound, I think you’ve just got to believe in yourself. That belief is what has got me to where I am today.’
