Do you want to see into the future of dentistry?

Do you want to see into the future of dentistry?

Understanding what lies ahead is the key to success and is the focus at 2025’s Association of Dental Groups’ (ADG) conference.

Hosted in partnership with FMC at the International Conference Centre in Newport, South Wales, this year’s event will take place from 6 to 7 November.

Launched last year, the ADG dentistry conference, which is now back for a second year, can boast being the UK’s only leadership event where dental groups come together to share insights and learnings on the ‘business of dentistry’ – offering delegates real-world growth strategies.

Who is the ADG conference for?

Whether you’re looking to scale your business, sharpen your leadership strategy, or learn how others are navigating growth, these are the conversations that don’t happen anywhere else. The conference’s content is designed specifically for C-suite executives, directors, and leadership teams shaping the future of dentistry in the UK. Attendees will gain exclusive insights into boardroom-level strategy, real-world operational challenges, and growth roadmaps shared openly by industry leaders. The ADG conference is now the UK’s biggest symposium for dental groups and DSOs — created specifically for executive teams and senior management.

Why you need to be there

The ‘tectonic plates’ of dentistry are shifting significantly. We are undergoing demographic changes, and an ageing population.  This along with increases in cultural diversity, an increasingly health-savvy younger generation and breakthroughs in technology, mean that what a dental practice needs to offer is set to look significantly different in the near future. However, there are great opportunities for dental practices to grow and succeed in the UK.

By using the right strategies and approach, dental practices can reach their full potential and achieve significant growth in a short time. The reality is that smart dental practices, that can predict and adapt swiftly, will be well set-up to succeed.

Listen to thought leaders

Experts from across the field of dentistry will be on hand to share insights on business growth strategies, how to integrate the best technology –  as well as thought-leaders on how to understand and plan for the seismic demographic changes that UK society is set to undergo.

Guest keynote speaker, Lord David Willetts will open the two day conference with insights based on his renowned book ‘The Pinch. How the Baby Boomers Took Their Children’s Future – And How They Can Give it Back’, which looks at the impact on economics we can expect based on demographic shifts. Lord Willetts will show how these landscape shifts relate to the business of dentistry.

Headline presentations and panels

  • Tomorrow’s world: How innovation is reshaping dentistry will examine what dental group leaders must do now to future-proof their businesses in an increasingly tech-driven world.
  • Disruption and opportunity: what’s next for group dentistry? takes on what an era shaped by political upheaval, shifting policies, global conflict and economic uncertainty will hold for healthcare, and in particular dentistry.
  • Boardroom confidential will provide rare access to unfiltered discussions from some of the UK’s largest DSOs.

For smaller and scaling groups, the event also offers practical learning: lessons on acquisition strategy, operational systems, and leadership development tailored to help practices grow confidently and sustainably.

What’s included?

This is a free-to-attend event for guests of FMC and the ADG – open exclusively to senior leaders of dental groups and DSOs. It includes two full days of growth and leadership insights including straight-talking panels, an overnight stay (terms and conditions apply), lunches, dinner, drinks and informal social sessions – along with time to connect and build relationships beyond the lecture theatre.  Delegates will also have access to handpicked event partners with growth-focused suppliers and service providers on hand. There is also a carefully curated social programme to encourage meaningful networking to ensure lasting impact after the conference ends.

Neil Carmichael, executive chair at the Association of Dental Groups, said: ‘The business of dentistry is evolving faster than ever. I would urge anyone with a stake in running a dental practice who wants to feel confident about what the future will look like in the next few years to come along and listen to the stellar line-up of experts and thought leaders at what I am thrilled to say is our second Association of Dental Groups conference.

‘We will hear insights, learnings and critical advice to super-power your dental group business. The ADG is partially delighted to be welcoming the leading economics and demographics though-leader, Lord David Willetts whose landmark account of intergenerational relations in Britain, The Pinch, makes for essential reading for both policymakers and business leaders.’
