Naveed Patel explains how he set out to balance practicalities and precision when building Dream Smiles Dental.
When Dr Naveed Patel decided to establish Dream Smiles Dental in Bolton, his aim was clear – to create a modern, implant-focused practice that combined clinical excellence, patient comfort, and educational opportunities under one roof.
Building a squat practice from the ground up allowed Dr Patel full control over the design, equipment, and workflow – but it also presented its own challenges. Turning his vision into a functioning, future-ready clinic needed a trusted partner who understood both development practicalities and the precision required for a high-performing dental environment.

From the very beginning, Dr Patel collaborated closely with the RPA Dental team to create an environment that meets current needs and allows for future expansion. The new practice features three fully equipped surgeries, with the capacity to expand to seven as the practice develops.
Two surgeries feature Castellini AREA and Castellini Puma ELI R treatment centres – selected for their ergonomic design, advanced control systems, and patient comfort. The third space functions as a combined clinical and training suite, equipped with the Stern Weber S380TRC, offering a 180° seated rotation and 90° knee break – perfect for live demonstrations and professional development sessions.
The practice also features the Dürr Dental VistaVox 3D X-ray system, combining diagnostic accuracy with efficiency and decreased radiation exposure – a perfect fit for a clinic focused on cutting-edge implantology and patient safety.
Dr Patel said: ‘I got to know the RPA team very well during the build, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were always available to help and offer invaluable advice, and they were on-site regularly.
‘Working with such a fantastic team instilled a lot of confidence, and our ongoing collaboration helps us continue providing quality care to our patients.’
