The British Orthodontic Conference has long been known for its speaker line-up – find out what this year’s event will offer.
Boasting a line up of international and UK experts, the three-day event will offer clinical excellence, evidence-based lectures and real insights into contemporary orthodontic challenges.
This year, the BOC trade and exhibition experience will offer hands-on, face-to-face space where delegates can trial new technologies, compare services, ask the right questions and speak directly to the people behind the tools and systems shaping modern orthodontics.
More than 60 companies will be exhibiting, with everything from aligners and AI imaging to bonding systems, scanners, training programmes and business support.
Sponsorship co-ordinator Dr Paul Scott sees the exhibition as the true engine room of the conference. ‘It’s where conversations happen,’ he said.
‘Delegates don’t just walk through and browse; they stop, they chat, they try things out. It’s where relationships start and where practices begin to evolve.’
More than a trade hall
This year’s exhibition also features a refreshed layout designed to bring delegates and exhibitors closer together. Smaller companies and specialist suppliers are placed in the high-traffic central area, surrounded by the main social and catering zones. Larger sponsor stands are positioned just beyond.
‘With cutting-edge products, hands-on demos, business insights and real-time networking, this year’s exhibition at BOC 2025 is more than just a trade hall,’ added Paul.
‘It’s the beating heart of the conference experience and the best place to connect, discover and move your practice forward.’
To make things even more interactive, the BOC ‘Passport for Prizes’ initiative will return, giving delegates the chance to win rewards simply for speaking to exhibitors. You can visit participating stands, collect stamps and enter the prize draw – all while gaining valuable insights into what’s available across the profession.
For newer clinicians or those attending BOC for the first time, the trade exhibition is also an informal place to network. Wednesday’s welcome drinks take place in the hall itself, giving delegates and exhibitors the chance to connect in a relaxed atmosphere.
Lunch and coffee areas are also woven into the layout, it’s easy to make time to explore while on the move between sessions.
