Patrycja Galonzka explains the intentional practice of modern leadership and how it has propelled her journey to manager of a multi-clinic operation.

Before being named a finalist, and later a highly commended practice manager of the year at the 2025 Dentistry Awards, someone gave me advice I didn’t know I needed: ‘Pause. Look at the mountain you’ve already climbed.’

That moment of stillness led me to reflect, write my first article, and finally acknowledge the journey from barista to business manager of a multi-clinic operation. But the real story didn’t stop with that recognition, because modern leadership isn’t a destination. It’s an ongoing, intentional practice. A commitment to growth that’s structured, people-first, and tech-enabled.
