CLINICAL DIRECTOR / ASSOCIATE DENTIST, DORST REGION – FULL/PART TIME
Our client is an exciting and fast-growing network of practices. As part of this growth, they are
creating a quality focussed business model by improving leadership capability and the clinical
supervision process. Both changes will result in a tangible improvement in care for our patients and
quality in our practices. To support the change process the existing clinical supervision structure will
be enhanced by developing existing dentists in the group to use their management and leadership
skills to advance the companies ethos.
Maintaining excellent clinical oversight and regulatory compliance, in a fast-growing dental chain is a
significant challenge, requiring skills and tremendous confidence. This role has been developed to
overcome the challenges by engaging dentists and practice colleagues through excellent
communication, smart ideas and collaboration with other dentists and operational managers.
This role will provide clinical leadership to a cluster of practices (the “Region”), including
professional support to peers, review professional development, review clinical audits, oversee
investigations, mentor and advise junior colleagues, all to ensure that treatments delivered at the
practices in the Region are safe and ethical.

·Over 5 years of hands-on dentistry experience
·Up to date knowledge of regulations, methods, trends and equipment
·Clarity and accuracy of writing and verbal presentation and interpersonal communication skills working in a fast-paced situation and is self-directed with minimal supervision
·Desire to expand knowledge from both a clinical and leadership perspective
·Working knowledge and comfort using Microsoft Office software
4000-6000 UDAS at a strong UDA rate
50% remuneration on private
Clinical Director days will be paid on a sessional basis (you can expect 1 day per week to start with, plans to increase on this each week)
