Full time Area Manager needed to start as soon as possible for a practices in the Oxfordshire area

Start Date: As soon as possible

To cover practices in the OX3, OX16, RG9 and SL6 area's

Pay: £28-30K per annum (negotiable depending on experience) – plus car, phone and laptop and annual performance related bonus, childcare vouchers, access to benefits platform

Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible)

Experience: Previous experience in the dental industry OR a similar role is essential. We are looking for a candidate that is commercially focussed with strong business acumen to take the practices forward.

To carry out management duties to ensure effective running of the Practice and perform such other tasks as reasonably requested by the Senior Management Team.
To liaise with the Receptionists, Nurses and Clinical Team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice as a whole.
To ensure the practice meets standards set by government legislation including but not limited to CQC and HTM 01-05.
To ensure the practices within your area work within the terms of the contract held with NHS England at all times.

Employment Duties:
To apply a proactive, organised and diplomatic approach to all duties.
To take part in the Senior Management on call rota.
To encourage teamwork throughout the company.
To oversee management for each practice within your area in relation to finance, personnel, health and safety, stock control and clinical governance.
To establish and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the team.
To liaise with the Operations Manager at regular intervals on matters concerning the management of the practices via weekly update emails to be sent on Thursdays.
To work with a number of external organisations, groups and individuals and carry out these tasks to a high standard of professionalism
To take reasonable care for her/his own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by her/his acts or omissions at work.
To ensure your online calendar is completed at least 2 weeks in advance and to inform your line manager of any changes to your schedule, providing an explanation for the change.
To visit each practice within your area at least once per week (unless in exceptional circumstances and where authorised by your line manager in advance).
To be contactable outside of normal working hours for emergency purposes only. Examples of an emergency: Fire, theft, flood, serious equipment failure or staff issues that can’t be resolved by the practice manager.
