A practice Manager is needed for an independent fully private practice in Neston
Start date: Inside of 3 months
Hours: 40 hours per week or 4.5 days/week
Salary: £35k-£40k Discretionary Bonus up to 10% of Gross Salary
Looking for a warm, welcoming manager with a proven track record of delivering great customer service, who wants to develop their career within a progressive dental centre of excellence.
You will be a confident, proactive manager with experience of co-ordinating and managing a team of approximately 15 staff ranging from nurses through to dentists and specialists.
The successful candidate will be up to date and fluent in CQC requirements, know what drives turnover within a practice and how to ensure smooth running of the service clinically, administratively and through excellent customer service to patients.
Knowledge and experience of dentistry, and a proven track record in dental practice management is essential.
You need to have proven planning & organisation skills. Organising the daily schedule of the practice with efficient day to day running.
Management of the staff rota, payroll, holidays, absences, HR and disciplinary matters.
Management of SOE, the appointment book, and recalls.
Liaising with cleaning/gardening staff to ensure practice interior and exterior is kept pristine at all times
Become the CQC registered manager & ensure the practice meets CQC requirements & legislative standards;
Work closely with Head Nurse to ensure the highest standards of nursing are practiced and maintained, that processes are followed and spot checks regularly carried out.
Ensure smooth running of clinical service to include materials ordering, equipment servicing and repair and that lab work is monitored and chased up where appropriate.
Coordinating implant and specialist treatment and ensuring great customer service is delivered to patients

Minimum 5 years professional experience in dentistry.
Dental experience (nurse or dental management role) preferred.
Proven ability to manage a team, and to look after customers to the highest standards.
Expert in the use of SoE to management level.
Highly skilled at using Microsoft office with a strong foundation in the use of Microsoft Excel.
