Speaker: Faye Donald

Faye is a practising dental hygienist. She graduated from Leeds in 2001 and went on to complete the National Certificate in counselling skills & behavioural therapy before undergoing further training in Switzerland where she became a certified Swiss Dental Academy Trainer. She now lectures both nationally and internationally and frequently writes for dental journals. Faye is chairperson for the North East BSDHT and is a key opinion leader for Oral B. She has twice been voted winner of ‘UK’s Best Hygienist’ and once voted winner of ‘UK’s Dental Hygienist of the Year’. Faye is a highly motivated hygienist who’s passion lays in patient centred, prevention led, minimally invasive treatment approaches and the role that empowering patients plays in contemporary supportive therapy.
