Heat-treated NiTi: safer, more efficient endodontics

Breakthroughs in modern metallurgy are revolutionising the way we shape and treat canals.

In this cutting-edge webinar, you’ll unlock the science behind heat-treated nickel titanium (NiTi) alloys and discover how these next generation instruments are transforming safety, flexibility and efficiency in daily practice.

Learning outcomes

  • Understand the science behind heat-treated NiTi alloys and how metallurgical advancements improve flexibility, fatigue resistance, and safety compared to conventional instruments
  • Evaluate case-based applications of heat-treated NiTi systems, including their role in managing complex canal anatomy such as severe curvatures and calcifications
  • Identify strategies to enhance clinical efficiency and safety by selecting and applying modern NiTi instruments appropriately across different case types
  • Understand how to best integrate heat-treated NiTi technology into daily practice to improve predictability, reduce procedural errors, and optimise patient outcomes.

Speaker: Adrian Stewart

A graduate of Queen’s University Belfast, Adrian subsequently completed an MSc in restorative dentistry and a postgraduate diploma in endodontics from the prestigious Eastman Institute, University College London.

After a period working in the endodontic department of King’s College Hospital, London, Adrian successfully completed the series of examinations for specialty membership in endodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and was subsequently admitted to the endodontic specialist register.

While Adrian’s practice is restricted to endodontics, his background and wealth of experience in restorative dentistry give him great insight into the restoration of root treated teeth and the role of endodontics in the overall treatment plan. Adrian has been accepting referrals for endodontic treatment for more than 10 years.
