Occlusal splints: when, why, how?!

This webinar will demonstrate, through clinical videos, the range of occlusal appliances used in general practice.

Decision making and troubleshooting will be presented.

Soft splint? Surely not? But that's what the hospital asked me to do!

Hard splint? Sure, but which one?

This punchy webinar is packed with clinical footage of delivering various types of splints – we will break down why (and why not) to make appliances including how to mitigate the risks of bite changes.

A clear decision making guide will be presented for general dental practitioners (GDPs) to feel more confident with prescription and delivery of several occlusal appliances.

Learning outcomes

  • Consider the indications and contraindications for occlusal appliances
  • Recall the record and fit protocols for various appliances used by GDPs.
