The Smile Awards shortlist for 2009 has just been announced.
Entries closed at the end of November and the chairman of the judging panel, Dr Christopher Orr, said: ‘The level of interest in these awards has been much greater than we expected. We had a high number of entries, which is wonderful for the inaugural year.
‘This, however, created a problem in that there were many high-quality entries and the process of shortlisting actually became very difficult. However, I am very pleased to see that the UK has a great number of clearly talented dentists and technicians – putting paid to the rumours that “British teeth are a creation of British dentistry”!’
The Smile Awards have been created to promote clinical excellence in dental and facial aesthetics. These awards are giving those dental professionals the chance to be rewarded for practising at the highest level of aesthetic dentistry.
The Smile Awards judges and sponsors would like to thank everyone who entered the awards and wish to congratulate those shortlisted dentists and technicians. To find out who actually wins, book your places at the Smile Awards ceremony on the evening of Friday 20 March at the glamorous Royal Garden Hotel, London.
Please call Elisa Allen on 01923 851734 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The evening will consist of a champagne reception, a splendid three-course meal and the awards presentation itself. Book before 30 January to be entitled to discounted tables and places.
