A dental professor has been listed in the ‘Who’s who in the world 2011’.
Professor Steve Creanor, director of Undergraduate Dental Studies at Peninsula Dental School, has been selected for an entry in the new edition of the book, having been first recognised in 1994 in Who’s Who in Scotland.
Professor Creanor joined the Peninsula Dental School in April 2007 from the University of Glasgow, and holds a chair in oral sciences as well as his director position.
An invitation to appear in Who’s who in the World recognises distinction and influence and seeks to recognise people whose ‘prominence is inherited, or depending on office, or the result of ability which singles them out from their fellows’.
Professor Creanor said: ‘It is a huge honour to be included in Who’s Who in the World 2011 and while it is an accolade for me, I am part of a hugely supportive team at Peninsula Dental School.
‘I am fortunate to have been afforded the position I have at the school and the unique opportunity to be involved in such an innovative and exciting dental programme.’
