Online game encourages dental donations

Leading dental companies are supporting an innovative new fundraising craze this Mouth Cancer Action Month to raise much needed funds for the Mouth Cancer Foundation. 

 #DFGame, created by dental website agency, Dental Focus, is simple and already generating friendly competition in the dental community. 

Companies that take part in the game make a donation to the charity. They are then given a spot in the #DFGame grid. The larger the donation the, the higher the company is ranked on the grid.  

As companies slide down the chart they can propel themselves back into pole position by donating more money. Currently, money4dentists is in the lead, but will they still be there by the end of November?

The founder of the Mouth Cancer Foundation, Dr Vinod Joshi, said: ‘I would encourage all the dental industry giants to dig deep and help raise funds for the charity this Mouth Cancer Awareness Month. This enables us to carry on supporting patients, carers and health professionals as well as promoting the signs, symptoms to look out for and early detection to the general public.’

 #DFGame runs through Mouth Cancer Action Month until the end of November 2013.
