Dental hygienists and therapists work in all sectors of dentistry and with the advent of direct access it is important to keep skills and knowledge up to date. CPD is an invaluable tool that contributes to professional development and boosts practical skills, while also enhancing career options. It is imperative that any CPD activity is relevant to your working environment, your professional needs and your goals for the future.

As one of Europe’s leading postgraduate dental centres, UCL Eastman Dental Institute is committed to fulfilling the educational needs of all dental practitioners. In 2016, we will be running a new set of courses tailored especially for dental hygienists and therapists, run in collaboration with the British Association of Dental Therapists. In order to reflect the wide range of career avenues available, there are lecture-based courses, hands-on courses and extended-duties courses covering periodontal management, composites, radiography, trauma and much more.

The courses are run by highly regarded dental practitioners in our state-of-the-art facilities.
