Dentists are being asked to share their experience of working within the NHS by taking part in the latest NHS Confidence Monitor.
This is the fifth edition of the Practice Plan survey, which aims to provide insight into the factors influencing confidence and happiness levels for those working at the coal face.
Whilst previous editions focused on the profession’s confidence in the future of NHS dentistry, the latest survey shifts the focus more to understanding dental professional’s experiences of working within the NHS.
Deeper understanding
‘We’re looking for decision makers, currently working within the NHS or those who have done so previously and are now in private practice, to share their experience’, explained Nigel Jones, sales and marketing director at Practice Plan.
‘This will help to paint an accurate picture of happiness and confidence levels, as well as deepen our understanding of what it’s like to work in NHS dentistry, both now and in the future.
The Monitor will gather information on areas such as each participant’s work/life balance, how comfortable they are that they can provide the appropriate level of care for patients and the challenges posed by managing patient expectations.
The survey is for principals and associates in the NHS and private practice, with experience in the NHS.
