Online CPD Dentistry Show – Chet Trivedy discusses medical emergencies

FMC is launching the Online CPD Dentistry Show thanks to Oral-B, giving you a year’s ECPD from the comfort of your own home.

Here we find out a little more about some of the speakers at the show and what they will be lecturing on.

Medical emergencies

Dr Chet Trivedy is lecturing on medical emergencies for the dental team from 9:30 to 11:45am on Wednesday 15 April. There will be a 15-minute interval at 10:30am.

Chet Trivedy biography

After qualifying as a dentist in 1993, Dr Trivedy worked in general dental practice and oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has obtained his fellowship in dental surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons (FDS RCS Eng) as well as a PhD in head and neck oncology from King’s College London.

Since completing his medical training, he has been working as a frontline emergency physician and lecturer in emergency medicine at Warwick Medical School.

Published widely, Dr Trivedy has more than 20 peer-reviewed publications and co-authors two core textbooks on emergency medicine.

Additionally, he is a member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. He is passionate about cricket and is the lead clinician at the Kia Oval cricket ground.
